Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our Security Operations Center. You will monitor and respond to cybersecurity alerts, review logs and intelligence, and escalate incidents as needed. This role requires Top Secret clearance and experience with DoD information systems.

You will work in a team to mitigate threats, prepare reports, and help restore operations quickly while leveraging sector-leading tools such as ESS, ACAS, and DoD SIEM platforms.

Qualifications

• DoD information systems experience required.
• Clearance level required: Top Secret.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification is required.
• CSSP Analyst Certification is required.
• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity alerts in real time.
• Review logs, tool output, and intelligence sources; investigate events.
• Follow escalation processes and prepare incident reports.
• Work with team to mitigate threats and restore operations swiftly.
• Analyze incidents to determine affected systems and aid recovery.
