Job summary

Constellis is seeking a Shift Coordinator to support site Operations under limited supervision, ensuring safety, cost effectiveness, and compliance with procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities include monitoring emergency communications, coordinating with off-site agencies, and supporting the Emergency Response Organization and daily facility operations. A BA/BS and 7+ years in related fields are required, with DOE clearance or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field and 7 years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of nuclear facility operations and emergency response.
• Knowledge of DOE nuclear facility safety and reporting requirements.
• DOE clearance or ability to obtain L or Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and receive emergency calls to the Central Control Facility 24/7.
• Receive calls from personnel reporting issues around the clock.
• Serve as off-site communicator for required emergency notifications.
• Monitor alarms and respond to critical events per procedures.
• Initiate public address announcements and dispatch response personnel.
• Activate Emergency Operations Center cadres and recall fire personnel as needed.
• Interface with management, auditors and external groups on safety matters.
• Provide turnover briefings and assist with safety policy updates.
