Job summary

Constellis in Kentucky is seeking a Shift Coordinator to support site operations, safety, and regulatory compliance in a demanding facility. Under limited supervision you will monitor emergency communications, coordinate response, and work with management to ensure procedures meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communications skills, knowledge of nuclear facility operations, and the ability to obtain DOE clearances; on-site duties may involve

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field with 7+ years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of nuclear facility operations.
• Experience in emergency response as a member of the plant's Emergency Response Organization.
• Knowledge of and experience with DOE nuclear facility safety requirements.
• Expert PC skills including Microsoft software.
• DOE 'L' or 'Q' clearance or ability to obtain a DOE 'L' or 'Q' clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and receive emergency calls 24/7 at the Central Control Facility.
• Dispatch response personnel and coordinate emergency communications.
• Support management to ensure safe, cost-effective, and compliant site operations.
• Interface with internal and external groups, senior management, and auditors.
• Assist with the development or review of plans, policies or procedures.
• Help maintain positive employee relations and safe work practices.
• Perform duties as assigned and adapt to evolving safety requirements.
• Provide turnover briefings to shift personnel during offshift.
