Job summary

Limiting Factor Group designs, builds and operates power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. The Facility Operations Lead will run the Moses Lake site around the clock, ensuring equipment stays powered and cooled without interruption.

You will lead the site team, own the maintenance program, and oversee handover from construction through commissioning while aligning with safety standards and budget expectations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years operating data centers or other critical facilities, incl. at least 2 years leading a team.
• Knowledge of UPS systems, generators, switchgear, chillers, and BMS.
• Experience writing and following formal operating procedures for live systems.
• Strong safety record and knowledge of electrical safety practices.
• Experience managing maintenance vendors and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the site’s electrical, mechanical, fire protection and security systems.
• Lead the site’s technicians and contractors, and manage the shift schedule and on-call rotation.
• Run the preventive and corrective maintenance program in the maintenance system.
• Write and enforce operating procedures, and approve planned changes to live systems.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Track capacity, energy efficiency and uptime, and report on them.
• Enforce site safety rules, including Washington State safety requirements, lockout/tagout and arc flash precautions.
• Take handover of new buildings from the Construction Lead and take part in commissioning.
• Manage customer access, service vendors and the site operating budget.
• Hire and train site staff from the local area.
