Zepf Center seeks a dedicated Mental Health Technician to support individuals in crisis across 24/7 mental health services. You will interact directly with clients, participate in crisis intervention, transport when needed, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include assessments, documentation, intake/discharge support, and de-escalation in high-pressure settings.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, CPI certifications may be required.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for company vehicle insurance.
• Must be eligible to drive company vehicles.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to mental health crises in the field or facility, providing immediate support to clients and their families.
• Conduct assessments and coordinate services with other health professionals.
• Observe, monitor, and engage with clients during activities to ensure safety and well‑being.
• Offer structured support in residential units, emergency rooms, or community locations.
• Provide individualized emotional support to enhance clients' emotional stability and resilience.
• Work closely with mental health professionals, case managers, and other staff to deliver care.
• Participate in intake and discharge processes, assisting with documentation and case management tasks.
• Track and document clients' behavior and mental status, identifying risks and responding to changes.
• De-escalation techniques and behavior management when necessary.
• Facilitate activities and therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and coping.
• Maintain client records and complete necessary reports.
