Job summary

Zepf Center is seeking a Full-time Mental Health Technician for its Emergency Services, a 24/7 crisis program serving Lucas County. The role involves crisis intervention, data gathering, transport of clients, and coordination with clinicians, case managers, and community services.

The ideal candidate will meet Ohio Medicaid criteria for qualified mental health workers, hold a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred) and possess a valid driver’s license. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities

• Gathers collateral data at the scene and by phone to resolve crises.
• Provides outreach service including crisis intervention.
• Accompanies clinicians in pre-hospital screening with clients in the community.
• Assists with care planning in consultation with clinicians and case managers.
• Coordinates services and makes referral contacts as needed.
• Documents services and activities for charting and billing.
