Center for Family Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center, a 24-hour psychiatric crisis center for adults. Join a compassionate team and support admissions, care planning, and disposition with trauma-informed approaches.

The role emphasizes de-escalation, crisis intervention, and collaboration with clinicians to ensure patient safety and effective service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Two years of experience with serious mental illness or substance use disorders.
• Driver’s license with a good three-year record.

Responsibilities

• Assist admission process for new consumers.
• Record inventories and secure valuables.
• Work with licensed clinicians to plan disposition and care.
• Provide trauma-informed care and de-escalation.
• Observe consumers and maintain safety in crises.
• Coordinate transportation as needed.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Participate in trainings and program improvement activities.
