Job summary

Zepf Center seeks a full-time Behavioral Health Tech to stabilize individuals in its Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in Toledo, OH. The role supports clinicians and engages with clients in crisis, delivering outreach and in-community services.

Hours include 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM shifts with 3 rotating weekends and holidays. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to join the CSU team and contribute to rapid stabilization and community reintegration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3 years' mental health experience.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility to drive agency vehicles.
• Eligible to be a qualified mental health specialist by Ohio Medicaid.

Responsibilities

• Gathers collateral data at the scene and by phone to resolve crises.
• Provides outreach services including crisis intervention.
• Accompanies clinicians in pre-hospital screening and supports care coordination.
• Coordinates services and makes referrals; documents in the EHR.
• Transports clients to and from community sites as needed.
• Attends meetings, completes reports, and ensures charting and billing accuracy.
