Job summary

Women Helping Women in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a collaborative Hotline Program Supervisor to lead a 24/7 crisis response team. The role blends leadership with direct advocacy to ensure survivor-centered, trauma-informed service delivery.

You will oversee scheduling, staff development, and community partnerships while maintaining consistent coverage and guiding staff through supervision and performance evaluations. Exempt position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience (2+ years preferred).
• Experience in the gender-based violence field.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom).
• Commitment to confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
• Passion for Women Helping Women’s mission and survivor-centered work.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and manage Hotline Advocates.
• Conduct regular supervision and performance evaluations, including performance improvement planning.
• Promote a supportive, collaborative team environment aligned with WHW values.
• Provide direct crisis intervention and advocacy.
• Oversee program operations to ensure high-quality survivor-centered services.
• Maintain consistent 24-hour coverage through staff schedules.
• Support On-Call Supervisor rotation with Hotline Director.
• Engage in agency strategic planning and program development.
