Job summary

WinCo Foods in Grants Pass, OR is seeking a friendly Self-Checkout Attendant to support customers across 24/7 store operations. The role involves assisting at the two-aisle check stand, multi-station SCO lanes, or customer service desk as assigned.

You will operate cash registers, scanners, and scales, process payments, ensure accurate pricing, and engage customers with proactive service. Must be 16+ and able to work varied shifts in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and basic math.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with friendly service.
• Operate check stand equipment, scanner, and scale to process orders.
• Engage in suggestive selling and other sales techniques.
• Handle monetary transactions accurately and securely.
• Maintain knowledge of product location and pricing.
• Keep check stand area clean, stocked, and safe.
• May assist at self-checkout or customer service desk as needed.
• Follow laws and policies for sale of restricted items.
• Adhere to FSC policies and procedures.
