Job summary

Securitas Technology, a world-leading security solutions provider, seeks an Alarm Monitoring Operator for our state-of-the-art 24/8 Monitoring Center on mid, 2nd, or 3rd shift. You will respond to alarm signals, manage events, notify authorities, and update customer contacts with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities include handling a multi-line phone system, data entry, and maintaining strict confidentiality. Paid training and growth opportunities are offered in a nationwide organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred.
• 1-3 years' work experience.
• Type 30+ words a minute; pre-hire typing assessment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with urgency and accuracy.
• Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Positive teamwork attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Paid training with final skill certification as Alarm Monitoring Operator.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all incoming alarm signals in automation software per procedures; notify authorities when appropriate and update contacts.
• Answer the multi-line telephone system.
• Ensure confidentiality of customer information at all times.
