Emergency24 is hiring Alarm Monitoring Operators for a fast-paced, 24/7 monitoring center in downtown Silver Spring, MD. The role dispatches emergency services, communicates with customers and responders, and documents activity accurately while adhering to strict procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in call centers, dispatch, or alarm monitoring is preferred.
• Willingness to complete required background checks and confidentiality agreements.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Paid training provided; 8 weeks long.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alarm activations and verify events per procedures.
• Handle a high volume of inbound/outbound calls.
• Dispatch police, fire, medical, and other emergency services as needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers, responders, and technicians.
• Document calls and actions in real time; maintain accurate records.
• Follow procedures, quality standards, and performance expectations.
• Adhere to assigned schedule and maintain reliable attendance.
