Job summary

Wright-Hennepin International Response Center is seeking a Dispatch/Call Center Specialist to provide timely, accurate customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will handle alarm traffic, obtain and enter account information, and perform routine system checks.

This full-time role involves a 10-hour rotating shift with options for morning or overnight coverage, weekend and holiday work, and opportunities for ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service experience in a high call-volume environment.
• Successful completion of WHIRC dispatcher training and probation.
• Must obtain and maintain all initial and ongoing licensures by meeting state and federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone and alarm traffic promptly and professionally.
• Obtain account information from technicians and customers and enter information accurately into the automation system.
• Perform system checks on equipment and report concerns and problems.
• Train and participate in monthly training, emergency generator and back-up power testing, and certification.
