Job summary

Brockton Public Schools in Brockton, MA is seeking a 21st Century Pathways Coordinator to lead after-school and community-based programs and manage related grants.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage grants and locally funded initiatives: 21st CCLC, ASOST, and others.
• Design and implement afterschool, weekend, vacation, evening, and summer programs; recruit staff; manage contracts/MOUs; analyze data; evaluate programs; coordinate PD; maintain grant records.
• Monthly grant financial reporting to Office of Financial Services; prepare Flex and YTD Budget Reports; payroll reconciliation; reimbursement processing; final reports to grantors.
• Partner with community agencies to increase after-school and out-of-school time programs and other student support services.
• Supervise and evaluate programs and staff.
• Complete all other related duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• 1.Appropriate license as Supervisor/ Director from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
• 2.Five or more years of applicable grant writing and education experience
• 3.Familiarity with MA Curriculum Frameworks and Brockton curriculum initiatives
• 4.Training and experience in research, assessment, grant writing and grant management
• 5.Demonstrated skill in organization, leadership, communication, problem solving, collaboration, and team building

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1.Manage the following grants and/or locally funded initiatives: 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC), After-School and Out of School Time (ASOST) and other awarded grants that sustain the continuation and/or expansion of these and other relevant support programs.
• 2.Management of the above initiatives includes: the design and implementation of afterschool, weekend, vacation, evening and summer programs; recruitment and hiring of supervisors and other program staff, administer related contracts/letters of agreement/ MOUs, collection and analysis of data, evaluation of programs, organization of professional development, maintenance of related grant records and attendance at required grant trainings or conferences.
• 3.Monthly reporting of grant financials to the Office of Financial Services. Produce Flex and Year-to- Date Budget Reports from the District’s MUNIS Accounting System. Reconciliation of Department Weekly/Biweekly Payrolls; Processing reimbursement request from Federal/State Grantor Agencies; Completing Final Reports required by Grantor Agencies.
• 4.Partner with community agencies to increase after-school and out-of-school time programs and other student support services.
• 5.Supervise and evaluate programs and staff
• 6.Complete all other related duties and responsibilities.

Compensation: According to BEA contract (1.30 ratio – 11-month work year)

Work year: Flexible work year and work day Reports to: Director of Community Schools

Salary: $58,552 to $121,921 Per Year
