Job summary

Brockton Public Schools in Brockton, MA is seeking a 21st Century Pathways Coordinator to lead after-school and community-based programs and manage related grants.

The role requires a Massachusetts DESE Supervisor/Director license, 5+ years of grant writing and education experience, and strong leadership, data analysis and collaboration skills. You will oversee program design, staff hiring, budgeting, data reporting and partnerships with community organizations.

Qualifications

• Appropriate license as Supervisor/Director from MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
• Five or more years of grant writing and education experience.
• Familiarity with MA Curriculum Frameworks and Brockton curriculum initiatives.
• Training and experience in research, assessment, grant writing and grant management.
• Demonstrated skill in organization, leadership, communication, problem solving, collaboration, and team building.

Responsibilities

• Manage grants and locally funded initiatives: 21st CCLC, ASOST, and others.
• Design and implement afterschool, weekend, vacation, evening, and summer programs; recruit staff; manage contracts/MOUs; analyze data; evaluate programs; coordinate PD; maintain grant records.
• Monthly grant financial reporting to Office of Financial Services; prepare Flex and YTD Budget Reports; payroll reconciliation; reimbursement processing; final reports to grantors.
• Partner with community agencies to increase after-school and out-of-school time programs and other student support services.
• Supervise and evaluate programs and staff.
• Complete all other related duties and responsibilities.
