Brockton High School is seeking teachers for the After School Credit Recovery and Enrichment Program to support students in literacy and content-area content. Sessions run after school with targeted groups including ASPIRE and Edison Academy.

Qualified applicants hold a Massachusetts Teaching license and have experience with high school students, IEPs/504s, and multilingual learners. Competitive hourly rate and contract-based scheduling are offered.

Teachers for Brockton High School Credit Recovery & Enrichment Program
Job Description:
Teachers in the Brockton High School After School Program will provide support to Brockton High School students who need additional literacy support, compensatory services, academic enrichment, MCAS practice, or recovery of credits for promotion or graduation. Teachers will provide individualized support to identified students on their caseload, and will work collaboratively with guidance counselors, re-engagement coaches, and instructors/supervisors to support students. Teachers will also be available to support students from ASPIRE and Edison Academy.
There will be two sessions – one targeted toward BHS students, and a second targeted toward ASPIRE and Edison students.
Content areas needed: ELA, Math, Science, Social Science, MSN, ESL/Bilingual, CTE, CML, Health/Wellness/PE
Qualifications:
Massachusetts Teaching license
Experience working with high school students
Experience working with students on IEPs or with 504s and multilingual learners

Program Hours: 2:20pm – 3:50pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays (Session 1)
and/or 4:00 – 7:00pm Monday – Thursdays (Session 2, for ASPIRE and Edison students)
