Job summary

Leonardo DRS is seeking a 2027 Summer Process Engineering Intern for our Dallas, TX location. This onsite, hourly internship runs for 12-14 weeks on a 9/80 schedule. U.S.

Citizenship is required and an active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one is necessary. The role offers hands-on experience within EOIS and exposure to engineering projects. You will collaborate with experienced engineers in our Electro-Optical & Infrared Systems line, performing testing, data gathering,

Responsibilities

• Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers.
• Complete assigned tasks on time.
• Gather and assemble data for engineers.
• Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers.
• Assist engineers with appropriate design details.
• Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices.
• Support, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
