Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required.
• Strong MS Office proficiency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support typical internship actuarial tasks including reserving, forecasting, benefit pricing, and rate analysis.
• Undertake a summer-long actuarial project culminating in a presentation to senior leadership.
• Participate in targeted trainings for Excel, SQL, VBA, PowerPoint and other technical skills.
• Contribute to AI initiatives and process/workflow improvements during the internship.

We offer a 12-week, paid summer internship program for college students who want to separate themselves from the pack. Past projects have included trend and seasonality studies, model automation and process improvement, retrospective reserve review, and pharmacy modeling.
