Do you have a passion for teaching math? Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is now accepting applications for middle school mathematics teaching positions that may become available within our division for the 2026 – 2027 school year.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with the appropriate endorsement to teach Mathematics at the high school level
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans and curriculum materials
• Possess ability to effectively assess student learning and use results to plan and implement appropriate instruction

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hold a master’s degree in Education and/or the specific subject area
• Possess a full mathematics endorsement
• Possess an Algebra I endorsement

FLSA: Exempt

SALARY: $53,889.00 - $87,325.91 annually, with benefits; commensurate with experience
