Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia seeks a qualified Mathematics teacher for middle school to support students in the 2026–2027 school year. This is a continuous recruit posting to build an applicant pool for all schools within the division.

Assignments may be determined across campuses; candidates must hold or be eligible for Virginia licensure with math endorsement and commit to a collaborative, tech-enabled classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with endorsement to teach Mathematics.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans and curriculum materials.
• Assess student learning and use results to plan instruction.
• Integrate technology into classroom instruction to enhance learning.
• Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework.
• Create and maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students.
