Job summary

AriensCo in Brillion, WI is seeking a hands-on leader to guide the 1st shift Welding team toward daily production goals. You will train team members, solve problems, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity remain top priorities on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities include enforcing standard work, reducing waste, and continuously improving processes while collaborating with AriensCo personnel to meet takt time and production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of standard work, time observations, takt time, and related charts.
• Understanding of Lean and 6S; trained in TWI is a plus.
• Strong training and communication skills; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead area team members.
• Adhere to standard work and improve it.
• Create, maintain, audit production standard work.
• Ensure cycle time is at or below takt time; assist on the line when needed.
• Train new employees and handle transfers/cross-training; cover for absences.
• Lead root-cause problem solving to meet daily goals.
