Job summary

AriensCo in Brillion, WI, is seeking a hands-on leader for our 1st shift Welding team. You will drive daily production goals through strong leadership, adherence to standard work, and continuous improvement on the floor.

You will train team members, solve problems, eliminate waste, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity remain top priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role offers growth and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum High school diploma or GED.
• Strong understanding of standard work and takt time.
• Proven understanding of Lean and 6S.
• Training and communication skills.
• Understanding of Lean and 6S.
• Basic computer skills.
• Trained in TWI.
• Past leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead area team members.
• Adherence to standard work.
• Create, maintain, audit, and improve standard work.
• Ensure cycle time is at or below takt time; assist on the line to meet daily goals.
• Train new employees, transfers, and cross training.
• Fill in for team members on vacation or absent.
• Root cause problem solving to prevent daily production shortfalls.
• Identify waste and eliminate it through continuous improvement.
