Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a skilled MIG/TIG Welder who also possesses practical expertise in Cobot programming. This role is intended for seasoned professionals, as it requires a strong background in both welding and robotic programming rather than being an entry-level position.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience programming and operating Cooper Cobots.
• At least five years of professional MIG and TIG welding practice.
• Proficiency in welding aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel materials.
• The ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical schematics, and standard weld symbols.
• Skill in utilizing precision measurement instruments such as calipers and tape measures.
• A dedication to high-quality craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
• Consistent reliability and a strong track record of attendance.
• A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.

Please note that candidates lacking specific Cobot programming experience will not be eligible for this role.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and program collaborative welding robots to optimize production.
• Execute MIG and TIG welding tasks on stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
• Construct metal parts by strictly following technical drawings and blueprints.
• Prepare all necessary welding materials, fixtures, and machinery for operation.
• Collaborate with the Engineering department to design and implement effective welding fixtures.
• Utilize angle grinders to refine and smooth finished weld surfaces.
• Operate automatic saws to support fabrication processes.
• Ensure the integrity of finished products by performing thorough quality inspections.
• Help maintain a safe, orderly, and clean environment for the entire production team.

Physical Demands and Compensation

You must be capable of lifting and maneuvering materials that weigh up to 50 pounds.
