Champion Personnel is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder with hands-on Cobot programming for a direct-hire role in Mentor, OH.

Responsibilities include welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, programming collaborative robots, reading blueprints, and coordinating with Engineering to develop fixtures. The position requires strict attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality work.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of COBOT programming experience.
• At least 5 years MIG/TIG welding experience.
• Able to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Physically capable of lifting components up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate collaborative welding robots.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Fabricate metal components according to blueprints and drawings.
• Set up welding equipment, fixtures, and materials.
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop welding fixtures.
• Operate an angle grinder to finish welds and smooth surfaces.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
