Job summary

Luxfer Gas Cylinders in Riverside, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector 1st Shift. The role runs Monday through Friday with Saturdays required when scheduled, from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

The position offers a wage of $20.76-$24.50 per hour plus shift differential and involves inline quality inspections during manufacturing. You will inspect cylinders internally and externally, record defects, and coordinate with Production to address nonconforming materials.

Qualifications

• Able to lift product and stand for extended periods.
• Read Pi-Tape, Calipers, Depth Gauge, and weight scale.
• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years related experience.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the quality function.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• At least 18 years old.
• Able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Perform inline quality inspections, checks, and tests during manufacturing.
• Record defects daily and suggest process improvements.
• Work with Production to identify nonconforming materials on the shop floor.
• Inspect materials internally, externally, and dimensionally to meet requirements.
• Perform in-process and final inspections.
• Generate nonconforming material reports and rework tags.
