Job summary

Luxfer Gas Cylinders in Riverside, CA seeks a Production Supervisor to coach a 15-20 person team, ensuring safety, workflow, and quality while driving CI and Lean initiatives. This full-time role reports to the Production Manager and requires organizing, scheduling, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology or related field desired; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience acceptable.
3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Very well organized and multi-task oriented.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Ability to work with all levels of team members; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain safe working environment and ensure compliance with environmental laws.
Own and drive department performance and results.
Lead Team Leader responsibilities per CI/Lean standards and company policies.
Improve processes using CI and TQM; develop local improvements and KPIs.
Develop and maintain 5S, SOPs, and cross-training plans.
Manage KPIs and costs in assigned areas; coordinate with other Team Leaders.
