Job summary

Luxfer Gas Cylinders is seeking a Quality Inspector for 1st shift in Riverside, CA. The role performs inline quality inspections, records defects, and collaborates with Production to improve processes on the shop floor.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of related quality experience, ability to read measurement tools, and the ability to pass drug and background checks. Shift runs Monday–Friday with Saturday as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of related quality experience.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Background check acceptable.
• Able to lift product and stand for extended periods.
• Able to read Pi-Tape, Calipers, Depth Gauge, and a weight scale.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform inline quality inspections, checks, and tests during manufacturing.
• Record defects daily and may recommend process improvements.
• Work with Production to identify nonconforming materials on the shop floor.
• Inspect cylinders internally, externally, and dimensionally to meet requirements.
• Generate rework tags and route nonconforming material for rework.
