Luxfer Gas Cylinders in Riverside, CA is seeking a Machine Operator to start up, operate, and monitor machinery on the 2nd shift. The role offers potential overtime and requires adherence to safety and PPE standards.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED (preferred) and about 1 year of manufacturing experience. Wages start at $18.58 per hour, with full-time hours and potential for additional shifts and benefits.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 Year of Manufacturing Experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Start up, operate, monitor, and shut down machines safely without supervision according to SOP for the work center.
• Load unfinished parts into machines and remove finished parts safely.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent performance and product quality.
• Check part quality using designated measurement instruments; understand when to stop the machine safely if issues arise.
• Perform routine set-up, periodic checks, and minor troubleshooting as required.
• Operate sanding tools and additional equipment to support the manufacturing process.
• Make necessary adjustments to machines to optimize performance and improve results.
• Produce high-quality parts according to manufacturing targets, schedules, and specifications.
• Assume responsibility for ensuring that all duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
• Keep a clean and orderly work area, adhering to 5S standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
