Job summary

AKG of America in Mitchell, SD is seeking a warehouse-based inventory clerk to manage records, locate parts, and update the Visual system. The role includes SAP-driven tasks, regular inventory checks, and accurate reporting to ensure timely product arrival.

You will support operations by maintaining inventory spreadsheets, assisting staff, and ensuring compliance with AKG EMS policies. A 6AM–2PM shift and a focus on accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; AKG experience preferred.
• Must be available and able to work the agreed shift 6AM-2PM.

Responsibilities

• Use SAP to update inventory records and locate parts.
• Assist employees in locating parts using SAP to verify location and quantities.
• Maintain a spreadsheet comparing actual vs. required inventory.
• Generate regular reports to support timely product arrival and inventory accuracy.
• Physically verify inventory every 3 months.
• Stay familiar with all parts used in assembly.
• Respond to inventory inquiries (email or verbal).
• Report issues to Supervisor or appropriate team member.
• Follow all AKG EMS policies and procedures.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Run daily Kanban reports.
• Confirm space availability in Location 560 before warehouse transfers.
