• Investigate and analyze non-conforming material; participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Guide production operators when engineering support is needed.
• Provide general technical assistance including data collection, equipment validation/qualification and automation tasks.

The selected candidate will provide Operations support on the manufacturing floor in our internal manufacturing facility in Chelmsford, MA.**Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:*** Work with Manufacturing Engineering staff to develop new procedures and processes that incorporate design for manufacturing’s best practices to improve yield and cycle time metrics.* Support troubleshooting of equipment and process issues that arise on their shift.* Provide training to Operators on equipment and processes as needed.* Perform investigations and analyses to disposition non-conforming material, and participate in the root cause investigation and corrective action implementation.* Provides guidance to production operators when engineering support is required.* Provides general technical assistance to the Engineering and Manufacturing organizations, including items such as data collection, equipment validation and qualification, automation programming, etc.**Qualifications:*** U.S. Citizen Willing to apply for a security clearance* Associate degree or equivalent experience with Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related technical discipline in the micro-electronics industry* Prior experience working in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment (3-5 years of applicable experience)* Strong analytical mind with problem solving skills* Ability to work and communicate effectively with direct labor on the Assembly floor* Ability to handle time sensitive projects and assist with data driven decision making in a manufacturing environment.* Understanding and knowledge of Data analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE), 6-Sigma, Lean manufacturing principles is a plus*For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
