Job summary

WM in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to keep our plant running safely and efficiently. You'll work Monday–Friday, 7am-4:30pm, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and responding to breakdowns in a fast-paced environment.

Prerequisites include 2 years of relevant experience, ability to lift >50 pounds, legal eligibility to work in the United States, and passing a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant work experience required.
• Be over 18 and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to perform physical duties including lifting more than 50 pounds.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment including conveyors and motors.
• Diagnose and repair equipment to keep the plant running safely.
• Respond to breakdowns and work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain clean, safe work area in accordance with OSHA standards.
