Job summary

Raytheon’s Andover, MA facility seeks a 1st shift Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing cell of 15–20 employees in the precision metal fabrication value stream. You will plan, organize, and direct work flow to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals while maintaining a safe workplace.

This role collaborates with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, and program management, driving continuous improvement via lean and six sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience working in and/or leading a Machine Shop, Final Assembly, and/or Component Manufacturing environment.
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain/maintain a Confidential security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute schedule and cost based on internal customer needs.
• Workforce planning and forecasting.
• Deployment and monitoring of resources for successful completion of tasks.
• Employee hiring and training.
• Time and attendance tracking.
• Predictive and preventative theory/methods.
• Capital identification and control of overhead expenses.
• Ensure the enforcement of company policies and procedures.
