Job summary

RTX seeks a 1st shift Production Supervisor at its Andover, MA facility. You will lead a manufacturing cell of 15-20 employees in a fast-paced setting, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets while maintaining a safe work environment.

You will coordinate with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, and program management to drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methods. A university degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in and/or leading a Machine Shop, Final Assembly, and/or Component Manufacturing environment.
• U.S. Citizen - the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Confidential security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execution of schedule and cost based on internal customer needs.
• Workforce planning and forecasting.
• Deployment and monitoring of resources for successful completion of tasks.
• Employee hiring and training.
• Time and attendance tracking.
• Predictive and preventative theory/methods.
• Capital identification and control of overhead expenses.
• Ensure the enforcement of company policies and procedures.
