Job summary

thyssenkrupp in Smithfield, RI is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift to work on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery. The role offers a pay range of $18-$19 per hour with a monthly bonus potential up to $600 and a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include handling product, processing orders, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining accuracy with cycles counts and forklift checks. Prior forklift experience is preferred, and HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet.
• Basic math skills required.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately removes and stocks product and supplies per inventory plan.
• Selects product to fill customer orders and packages them properly.
• Loads/unloads trucks and verifies correct items loaded/unloaded.
• Picks, processes and packs orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle counts and inspects forklift at shift start.
