Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, OH, is hiring for a manufacturing Area Lead role. The position offers an hourly base pay of $23.00 to $25.00 with first shift Monday-Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm and full-time hours.

As an Area Lead, you will supervise line leads, manage schedules, enforce safety, onboard new hires, and drive line performance to meet MPO goals. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Must actively lead safety and wear PPE at all times.
• Able to read schedules and coordinate line starts.
• Effective communication with line leads and supervisors.
• Proven ability to train new hires on onboarding.
• Strong attention to detail on production boards and line status.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety practices and ensure PPE compliance.
• Prepare and distribute production schedules to line leads.
• Track line statuses and ensure leads are present on time.
• Conduct meetings with leads on performance and production topics.
• Onboard and mentor new hires throughout shifts.
• Maintain and update production boards; address deficiencies.
• Prioritize remakes and investigate root causes with leads.
• Monitor fallouts and ensure complete carts and accurate labeling.
• Manage downtime proactively and keep staff productive.
• Help push production to meet MPO goals when lines underperform.
• Adhere to EEO guidelines.
