Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Area Lead to manage production lines with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will coordinate line schedules, mentor new hires, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

The role requires hands-on capability with production equipment, clear communication, and willingness to work OT and weekends to meet MPO goals. Comprehensive benefits kick in from day one.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safety in all tasks and not cut corners.
• Able to keep lines accountable to CTQ guidelines.
• Capable of independent decision-making when supervision is unavailable.
• Proficient in operating production floor equipment as Area Lead.
• Clear daily communication with peers and subordinates.
• Maintain excellent attendance and timely line status updates.
• Able to follow supervisor directions and cascade to leads.
• Comfortable reading schedules and prioritizing tasks.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to onboard and mentor new hires for proper training.

Responsabilités

• Lead safety practices and ensure PPE is worn at all times.
• Prepare and distribute line schedules for line leads.
• Monitor line status and ensure presence and punctuality of line leads.
• Conduct meetings with leads to review areas for improvement and production topics.
• Oversee new hire onboarding and ongoing training during shifts.
• Maintain production boards and drive prioritization of remakes.
• Address fall outs and ensure complete carts and proper labeling.
• Be proactive on downtime and keep line personnel occupied.
• Help push production to meet MPO goals and diagnose line issues.
