Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Auburn, WA is hiring a Production Lead for the 2nd shift (2:30pm–1:00am, Mon-Thu with overtime possible). The role oversees production teams, enforces safety, and drives key metrics toward target output.

Base pay is $25.50–$28.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential; benefits start day one. Strong communication, coaching, and teamwork are essential to succeed on this fast-paced plant floor.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to coach, train, and mentor all levels of associate
• Ability to develop and play a team member role with other plant members
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as well as off shift as required
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards
• Experience in manufacturing environments and adherence to procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to production team to meet metrics and ensure timely results
• Monitor line staffing and adjust staffing levels to hit goals
• Perform routine line checks to ensure efficiency and progress on machine, production and personnel
• Maintain manufacturing methods including 5S, PQCDSM and KPI monitoring
• Ensure onboarding and mentoring of associates and proper training
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment running at optimal levels
• Prepare and have paperwork ready for next schedule and smooth handoffs
• Collaborate with shift leaders, QA, and warehouse for smooth production runs
