Job summary

Entegris in Aurora, NY seeks an Operations Associate for a first shift (Mon-Fri, 6 am–2 pm). You will manufacture CMP Pads, perform data entry, quality tests, and maintain a safe, clean workplace while supporting LEAN initiatives.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and up to 1 year manufacturing experience; strong attention to detail and ability to lift 50 lb. etc., and the company offers a robust benefits package and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry.
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand/power tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 15 ft. and walk and stand during first shift.
• Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, repetitively twist, bend and reach upward and handle small screws, washers, fasteners, etc.
• All employees go through 30-day on-the-job training in a fast-paced, hard-working environment.
• All employees are expected to be flexible, working in varying departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture Entegris CMP Pads using a variety of manufacturing equipment (laminator, CNC, die press, brush clean).
• Perform required data entry and record keeping.
• Perform required quality testing and inspections.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment.
• Understand and adhere to Entegris values, procedures, policies, etc.
• Engage in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities.
• Comply with plant safety initiatives.
• Perform miscellaneous production-related tasks (cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory).
