Job summary

The Jor-Mac Company is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing equipment. The role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and uphold safety standards.

The technician will work Monday-Thursday 5:00am-2:00pm and Friday 5:00am-9:00am, collaborating with production teams to support continuous production flow and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• OSHA safety standards knowledge.
• Previous experience in 1st shift manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and parts inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while working with tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.
