Job summary
tmax Group in Aurora, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician (1st shift) for on-site, full-time work. You will perform routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment, diagnose issues, and complete repairs to keep operations safe, efficient, and reliable.
You will conduct preventive maintenance, document work performed, manage tools and spare parts, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience with preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Proficient in diagnosing mechanical and basic electrical issues in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
- Inspect equipment, diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and document work performed; manage tools and spare parts.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
