About the Role:

The 1st Shift Maintenance Technician, (Monday through Thursday 5:00am-2:00pm, Friday 5:00am-9:00am), plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing or facility equipment during the primary work shift. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. The technician will collaborate closely with production teams to identify potential issues before they escal, thereby supporting continuous production flow. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate maintenance records and adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, the Maintenance Technician contributes to the overall reliability and longevity of equipment, directly impacting operational success and workplace safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or a related field.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and compliance.
• Previous experience working in a 1st shift manufacturing environment.
