Job summary

OSI Industries, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Planning Supervisor for the 1st shift at our Oakland, IA plant. The role focuses on reliability-based maintenance strategy development in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.

You will lead a team to perform preventive, predictive, and routine tasks and ensure equipment reliability across the facility. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience, reads engineering drawings, and can manage multiple tasks with strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Hands on maintenance experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering documents, drawings, schematics.
• Ability to write detailed repair reports and communicate effectively.
• Good Manufacturing Practices knowledge (GMP).
• SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a maintenance team; may hire and performance-manage.
• Lead 1-5 employees and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
• Maintain equipment records in SAP.
• Plan and schedule corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance to maximize crew utilization.
• Coordinate outside service requests and manage purchase orders within budget.
• Use Word, Excel, and Visio to plan activities and create training documents.
• Track performance metrics and prepare reports and presentations.
• Understand and interpret manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Collaborate with other plants to standardize maintenance plans.
