Job summary

OSI Group in Iowa seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to help develop a reliability-based maintenance strategy, working with the Maintenance Manager to build a capable maintenance team. The role emphasizes preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks and requires hands-on experience.

The supervisor will lead 1–5 technicians, maintain equipment records in SAP, plan corrective work, coordinate outside services and ensure compliance with GMP and safety policies across production areas.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering documents, drawings, schematics.
• 3-5 years of experience in related field preferred.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 1–5 employees and manage hiring/performance.
• Maintain equipment records in SAP.
• Plan and schedule corrective work to maximize crew utilization.
• Coordinate outside service requests and manage purchase orders within budget.
• Ensure GMP standards are met in production areas.
• Respond to production calls and assign appropriate personnel.
• Train and cross-train maintenance staff for versatility.
• Oversee maintenance projects as directed by Maintenance Manager.
