Grillo’s is seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Mechanic to keep our industrial equipment running safely and efficiently. The role involves preventative maintenance, rapid trouble response, and collaboration with the operations team to maximize uptime.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least one year in manufacturing maintenance, with welding or machining skills and experience reading schematics. The position requires flexibility for overtime and on-call support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• Able to read manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of industrial machinery.
• Monitor system performance and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and timely.
• Receive work from manager and carry out duties promptly.
• Respond to breakdowns and restore machines to running state.
• Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime.
• Dismantle, repair and reassemble gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, etc.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Maintain company documentation as needed.
• Perform other duties within scope of role.
