Job summary

Clearly Clean is seeking a skilled Maintenance-Mechanic in Greensboro, NC to ensure reliable operation of plant mechanical systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with the team to minimize downtime while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires reading manuals and schematics, hands-on troubleshooting, and a proactive approach to equipment care in a fast-paced environment. Shift: 1st, Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an industrial/mechanical apprenticeship program.
• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and execute timely repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and regulatory compliance standards during all maintenance operations.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment as required.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide effective solutions to restore operations.
