The incumbent should possess the skills, ability, knowledge, and willingness to learn any task within the value stream requested by management with limited supervision, oversight, or guidance. This is a second shift position (Monday - Thursday) with a 10% shift differential.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Participate in and adhere to Lucas Milhaupt safety programs and policies, including active use of the Zero Communication Platform.
• Engage in Department and Company Lean activities to drive improvements in quality, productivity, safety, and other areas such as 5S and Kaizen events.
• Set up and operate assigned equipment, communicating important steps, key points, and reasons as trained.
• Understand and execute assigned processes within the department.
• Perform quality checks as needed.
• Formulate products according to prescribed recipes and follow processing steps efficiently.
• Package products in designated containers, attach labels, and documentation.
• Monitor processing operations, make adjustments as needed, and perform in-process quality checks.
• Organize and maintain raw materials to ensure proper identification, safety, efficiency, and inventory levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping within the work area and equipment to prevent contamination and ensure safety.
• Read and understand the AS400 system.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
