Position Overview

This position requires a self-motivated individual willing to work safely in a team-based system. They need to have the ability to schedule their work, prioritize their workload, and complete tasks in a timely manner. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. A desire for continuous improvement and quality workmanship are required to meet our customers' increasing demands. Overtime, including weekends, may be available.

Responsibilities

1. Set an example to co-workers by always practicing safe work habits.
2. Ensure work areas are free from hazards that could cause injury or accidents.
3. Report any unsafe conditions to the Plant Manager.
4. Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude towards customers, co-workers, subordinates, and management.
5. Support, encourage, and participate in quality improvement projects to meet or exceed customer and company quality, service, and performance expectations.
6. Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
7. Perform job duties according to established standards.
8. Offer suggestions to solve problems.
9. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous machine operator experience is required. Experience in die-cutting is preferred. Good human relations skills and strong verbal communication skills are essential.
