Job summary

Foster Farms is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support the poultry processing operation. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance across multiple systems, including packaging lines and freezer equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in poultry processing maintenance, strong English communication, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Five years experience in poultry processing maintenance or related field.
Ability to troubleshoot and make on the spot corrections to emergencies.
Welding, arc and heli-arc, and use of cutting torch.
Good written and oral communication skills in English.
Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Work from ladders safely.
Willing to work rotating shifts and weekends as required.
Willing to cross train in processing maintenance area.
Stand for prolonged periods on concrete/metal grate floors.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all MDP grinding operation equipment across the area.
Generate work orders, store requisitions, report deficiencies.
