Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Dobson, NC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to repair and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and conveying systems in our poultry processing plant. You will use blueprints and diagrams to keep equipment operating within required specifications and tolerances, and perform preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex issues, implementing corrective actions, and training entry-level staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• NOCTI Mechanical/Electrical test, Level I certified
• Pass NOCTI Mechanical/Electrical test, Level 2 required

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and conveyors.
• Perform preventive maintenance using blueprints and diagrams to ensure safe operation and tolerance adherence.
• Identify root causes of complex issues and implement corrective actions; escalate when needed.
• Train entry-level employees as needed.
