Job summary

Tyson Foods in Georgia seeks a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair and calibrate equipment across the feed mill. You will enter data into handheld systems, use hand and power tools, and work with contractors to ensure safe, efficient operation. The role requires physical capability and adherence to Tyson policies.

Experience in industrial settings and a high school diploma or equivalent is required; a technical or vocational diploma is preferred. 1st shift hours apply.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months operator experience with one employer in the previous 12-months.
• Three to five years related experience with at least three years in an industrial setting/relevant work experience. A High School Diploma or equivalent to include Technical or Vocational Diploma preferred, or combination of equivalent experience and education in lieu of a Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets.
• Enter data into handheld computer system and use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Work with contractors to ensure proper utilization of equipment and safety compliance.
• Follow Tyson preventive maintenance program and safety policies.
